Nicole Rojas

I grew up in a Christian home with parents who served in many different places in the church. I accepted Jesus into my heart when I was in 5th grade and got baptized a few years later. Just like my parents, I found a love for serving others in any way I am able. But I really fell in love with doing ministry while serving at a summer camp for the past several years. It is a camp for teens from under-resourced communities who likely wouldn’t have an opportunity to attend camp without the donors that make the camp possible. Serving those who do not come from much and are coming to a place where they are able to hear the word of God, often for the first time, has spurred my passion for kids and ministry.
I am currently a Junior at Judson University, studying Christian Ministry and Psychology. I have hope to become a pastor in the future. I am beyond excited to share the Gospel, to show and tell people what the Lord can do in their lives. I am also looking forward to growing in my own faith and knowing more and more about who Christ is. I would like to go to South Africa because I want to grow the ministry of Jesus. To share what the Lord has done in my life so I can help others.

Nicole will be joining the Engage Africa Team from May to July 2025. She will be involved in all the different aspects of ministry and doing life in South Africa.
