Jeff, Abby, Beth, and Jordan Hunt
Jeff and Abby founded Engage Africa and moved to Rustenburg, South Africa in 2009.
They had each previously spent 2 years serving in South Africa, being mentored by established missionaries. They each fell in love with the people and cultures of South Africa and felt the Holy Spirit leading them back to full time ministry there before they met each other and decided to follow that call together.
Their 2 children were both born in South Africa and consider themselves American-Africans. They are homeschooled by their grandparents, Larry and Penny Sauter who spend most of the year in South Africa as well!

Jared, Melissa, Ariyah, Isaiah, and Josiah Stuemke
Jared and Melissa joined the Engage Africa team from Central Illinois and moved to South Africa with their 2 sons in 2025, leaving their daughter in the States to attend university.
They are jumping into all the different areas of ministry that already exist within Engage Africa and making foundational steps that will prepare new areas of ministry that were only a dream before their arrival. They are gifted at connecting with people and passionate about pairing the Gospel with sustainable food sources to feed both soul and body.

Aubrey Brown
Aubrey is from Kenosha, Wisconsin. She has been sensing the Holy Spirit moving her to a new area of ministry and is beginning the process of joining the team in South Africa.
She is a talented musician and passionate worshipper who sees music as a tool for discipleship. She is a hard worker with a servant's heart and is especially drawn to discipling youth.
We are confident that she will be a great addition to the team.
